This privacy policy applies to the MicroCheck and Viking Two mobile applications (the "Apps") developed by Visbiz AS (formerly Sparc Technologies AS), org. nr. 925 291 292, on behalf of Micro Matic Norge AS.

1. Data We Collect

The Apps collect the following data to provide their core functionality:

• Device information: Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connection data for communicating with charging stations.
• Location data: Used to identify the installation address of the charging station during report creation. Location is only accessed when you actively use the reporting feature.
• Report data: Information you enter when creating inspection reports, including company details, customer information, installation address, test results, and photos.
• Email addresses: Provided by you to send completed reports to customers and/or your own company.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To connect to and configure EV charging stations via Bluetooth.
• To generate and send inspection reports via email.
• To store draft reports locally on your device so you can complete them later.

3. Data Storage

Report data is stored locally on your device in a local database. When you submit a report, it is sent via our server to generate a PDF and deliver it by email. Submitted reports are stored on our server for record-keeping purposes.

Photos attached to reports are uploaded to our server and included in the report PDF.

4. Third-Party Services

• Google Maps / Places API: Used for address lookup. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• SendGrid: Used for email delivery of reports.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Report data is only shared with the email recipients you specify when submitting a report.

6. Data Retention

Local data on your device persists until you uninstall the app or clear app data. Server-side report data is retained for business record-keeping purposes.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
